metriq ("we," "us," or "our") is a software product owned and operated by Kashyap LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use metriq.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, billing information), advertising platform data via OAuth (read-only campaign and account metrics), Shopify store data (orders, revenue, returns), and usage data (pages visited, features used).

How we use your information

We use your data to provide and improve metriq services, calculate profit analytics, power the AI analyst, send product communications, process payments, and comply with legal obligations.

Data processors

We use the following third-party processors:

Supabase — database and authentication
Stripe — payment processing
Resend — transactional email
Cloudflare — CDN, security, and hosting
PostHog — product analytics
Plausible — privacy-friendly website analytics

Data retention

Account data is retained while your subscription is active. After cancellation, data is retained for 90 days then permanently deleted.

Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data. California residents may opt out of sale of personal information — we do not sell personal data. Contact hello@gometriq.com to exercise your rights.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). OAuth connections are read-only — we cannot modify your ad accounts.
